Jeanne DeHann

Jeanne DeHaan is very versatile as seen by her work in many different mediums including watercolor, oil, fabric, stained glass, and clay.  Her watercolor paintings are identifiable by her use of strong, vibrant color instead of the much more transparent washes typically seen. She has lately been focused on watercolor and oil painting, both from within the studio and plein air.  Subject matter is often found within her own expansive and spectacular gardens, to landscapes and still life.  In all cases, her paintings utilize captivating formulas of light, color, and emotion.
Jeanne has already found success in international as well as local/regional competition.  She is very active in teaching classes and workshops throughout the year in S.E. Michigan.
