Robert Bergman

Mr. Bergman has enjoyed a lifetime of painting and drawing. After his discharge from the Army Air Core at the end of WWII, he attended the Misinger Art School. He began working as a paint specialist in the Styling Center of the Ford Motor Company, soon after completing his schooling. Furthering his education, he received his diploma as a Sculptor Clay Modeler from the school of Dynamic Design in Detroit. He continued to advance his art education at the Society of Art and Crafts, concentrating on advanced painting and auto design. He then went on to become a graphic designer at the Ford Motor Company Design Center, retiring in 1989 after 30 years. He now paints often in his home studio, and has found great joy in plein air painting whenever time and weather afford him the opportunity. His mediums are acrylics, pastels, and pen & ink.
