Hi Nancy! thanks for the interest. Joining is pretty easy. There are 2 levels of membership. The first is free and provides you with a listing on the members page. The second costs $30 per year and includes a members gallery where you can have your own personal gallery page with as many photos of your paintings as you’d like throughout the year.
For the free membership you just need to give me your basic info, and I obviously have your email…but would need where you’re from, and I can get you listed. For the paid membership you can either sign up online by going to the members only tab.
Once there enter the password (will send you in another email) and you can pay via paypal. Alternatively you can send a check. I will also send the details in another email!

I would like to become a member. I am new to Plein air. I have the equipment and just waiting for above 0 temps! Ha! I plan to begin with pastels, and then acrylic and watercolor. I have only been painting for 2-3 years. I am currently in Shelby Twp.

This September at the Franciscan Life Process Center we’re having our first annual plein air event that we’re calling “Wet Paint at Fallasburg Park”. It will be on the September 20, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, in partnership with LowellArts! near Fallasburg Park Fall Festival, which brings in thousands of art buyers every year. Fallasburg is a beautiful park with a stream running through it, a covered bridge, and lots of farms and beautiful land around it. Check in will be at the Franciscan Life Process Center at 8:00 AM, and it will end at 4:00 PM. Participants will go to the Pavilion at Fallasburg Park for the sale that will begin at 5:00 PM. The cost is $15 to register, and then 25% of the sale of your painting. Could you publish this event for us?
