May 3 – Plein Air Paint Out

The Livingston Arts Council holds its annual outdoor painting event for artists. Participants are asked to check in between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at The Opera House, 123 W. Grand River Ave. in Howell, where they will be given a continental breakfast and brown-bag lunch, and then go outside to paint. Artists can choose their own outdoor location or get suggestions/They are invited to return to The Opera House with their completed work between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Paintings from the event will be displayed at The Opera House. A free reception with refreshments begins at 6 p.m. where the artwork on exhibit will be for sale. Registration costs $10. To sign up, call 517-540-0065.
